• Prevent degradation of other ingredients .

Octyl methoxycinnamate (octinoxate) (7.0 ww %)

• Covering range :280-320 nm
• Chemically absorb UV B only
• Most widely used UV B blocking agent in the skin care industry
• Show some degradation upon exposure to UV light but it can be prevented by other agents .
• FDA approved up to 7.5 ww %

Octyl salicylate (4.0 ww %)

• covering range :295-315 nm
• Chemically absorb UV B only
• High safety profile
• Show some degradation but can be prevented by other agents .
• FDA approved up to 5.0 ww %
